Unless otherwise noted, the Woman’s Club of York events will be held at the Country Club of York at 11:30 AM on the third Friday of the month. The costs for each program are as follows:

Members: $29.00 – Lunch, Meeting & Program
Guests: $35.00 – Lunch, Meeting & Program

Members have an option to enjoy the meeting and program without lunch at no charge. This option is available to members only.

FALL LUNCHEON AND CARD PARTY
at the Outdoor Country Club

This year’s fashion show will again be presented by COLLAGE OF York! All the latest fall/winter fashions including outerwear and comfortable daytime.ensembles will be featured. Again, many items will be for sale after lunch. As always, there will be lovely baskets to be auctioned, plus a 50/50 raffle, door prizes and prizes for card winners. This is the club’s fall fundraiser, so invite your friends to join us for lunch/fashion show and remain for games of your choice. Doors open at 11:30.

November Luncheon with Chef John Moeller

Chef John, author of ” Dining At The White House’ will speak of his experience as Chef at The White House 1992-2005 serving 3 first families: President George HW Bush, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.
Chef John traveled to Europe, studied and worked in Dijon, France from 1984-1986.
He graduated from Willow Street Vo- Tech, and the Johnson & Wales University Culinary School. He also worked in Boston & Providence, RI.
Chef John Moeller will have some of his books “Dining at the White House” to purchase: perfect Christmas gifts!

CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON

Distinguished Young Women is a nation-wide scholarship program which recognizes the accomplishments of high school students.
Girls in their junior year in a York County high school may apply to this program that provides rewards for scholarship, leadership, and talent.
Participants in the 2024 DYW program will present a Christmas Showcase for The Woman’s Club of York. They will show their performing talents during this Holiday season.
Join us to listen to this extraordinary group of young, talented women!

February Luncheon: York’s African-American Suffrage Leaders

Join us for an enlightening and inspiring presentation on “York’s African American Suffrage Leaders.”
Samantha Dorm will shine a spotlight on the brave African American Women of York, PA, who were pivotal in their efforts to secure the right to vote.
These women, operating as members of the Phyllis Wheatley club, played host to key national figures in the Suffrage movements, including Alice Dunbar. Among these trailblazers was Etha Cowles Armstrong, who often served as the negro subcommittee president of the Women’s Suffrage party of York.

Adrienne Stein is an award-winning American artist living and working in Pennslyvania and Colorado.
Adrienne holds an MFA from Boston University and a BFA Magna Cum Laude from Laguna College of Art & Design. Adrienne studied under many gifted and influential instructors throughout the United States, France and Italy. Her work is collected in the U.S. and abroad.
Join us in learning all about the art world with this very talented American artist!
